DOCTOR OF AUDIOLOGY, AUDIOLOGIST
An Ottawa native, Simone Dunbar-Nesbeth holds an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and a Master of Health Science in Audiology from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) from A.T. Still University. Practicing since 2018, Simone has experience in diverse audiology settings, with special interests in central auditory processing, tinnitus, and decreased sound tolerance. She is certified in Tinnitus Retraining Therapy under Pawel Jastreboff, is a registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario, Speech-Language and Audiology Canada, and the Canadian Academy of Audiology. She was the recipient of the Canadian Academy of Audiology 2018 Student Award for excellence in academics, research, or community service. Outside of work, Simone enjoys travelling and spending time with her family.
